Colposcopy certificate

Got my official certificate in the mail.  I guess I must have passed the colposcopy test...whew!  What a relief.  Maybe now my life will settle down for a little bit?  ha ha, that will be the day.  I'm still so busy I can't see straight and can't find time to get enough sleep, much less blog.

Just found out today that the doctor we have been waiting a year for will not be joining our clinic after all.  So my client load won't be getting any lighter any time too soon.  I had been telling myself, "Just two more weeks and the new doctor will be here.  I can hold out that long."  Now the search for a replacement starts all over again and it will be months at the earliest before we get someone new. I am trying not to be discouraged or depressed. My boss keeps reminding me, "Being super busy means job security."

On another note, pregnant mom with breast cancer...everything is all squared away with surgeons, oncology, L&D and delivery date is set.  Hope and pray it all goes smoothly.  Pregnant mom with cervical cancer is doing well.  Close monitoring until after delivery.  Ended up not being invasive cancer...happy day!  HIPPA being what it is, that's all I can say.  I am just praying hard for both of them and their families.

Thanks so much for the updates, and congrats on being able to poke more efficiently at cervixes!

I expect to see that new certificate proudly displayed on your wall! :) Congrats!

And thank you for the update on the patients with cancer. I have been thinking about them.

Congrats on the cert & I'll think +++vibes for the women with ca.

About the heavy pt load... I guess just try to keep things in balance as well as you can... and don't forget humor - life's too short... hang in there, hopefully you'll get lucky and find someone great who's ready to start work in a hurry :)

Yeah!!!! When I had my first one the doc let me watch on some equipment she had set up to teach the residents. Interesting! Just would rather not do it again, much better to watch someone else.

Sounds like you are a wonderful caregiver. Wish you were here, I would see you.
